MSF IN CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC

MSF has been working in Central African Republic since 1996. Since 2013, MSF has doubled its level of medical support in response to the crisis. In 2017, MSF had more than 2,500 Central African staff and 250 international staff working in 16 projects across the country, with medical teams providing free healthcare including paediatric care, routine vaccinations, maternal healthcare and surgery, as well as treatment for diseases such as HIV and tuberculosis. MSF has regular projects in Bria, Bambari, Alindao, Batangafo, Kabo, Bossangoa, Boguila, Paoua, Carnot and Bangui, and also manages several emergency projects providing care for people directly affected by violence.
