Emergency assignment abroad

As a Medical Doctor you will work closely with the team on-site to oversee clinical care delivery, patient monitoring, and the implementation of protocols specifically for the Ebola context. You will drive medical operations within established Ebola Treatment Centers (ETCs) or lead the clinical setup of new isolation and treatment units in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Additionally, you will supervise and train the clinical team, ensuring strict biosafety and infection prevention standards across all wards.

As a Nurse you will coordinate and supervise the implementation of protocols, procedures and ensure quality of care while having a focus on information traceability, patient monitoring and the application of rules regarding IPC, use of PPE and sterilization by care personnel. You will manage, train and supervise nursing staff and be responsible for pharmacy management and administrative procedures. Moreover, you will be part of detection activities and have a key role in Ebola response operations; including the setup and management of new and existing Ebola Treatment Centers (ETCs) and collaborate with Ministry of Health and support the activities at local hospitals.

Defining, coordinating and monitoring all pharmacy related activities in the project including management of staff, according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures, in order to ensure the proper management and supply of drugs and medical devices. Working alongside clinical teams and local health authorities, you will oversee medical ordering, budget planning, and rational drug use within established or newly set up Ebola Treatment Centers (ETCs).

Organize and coordinate mental health and psychosocial support activities within the project, using strategies and tools adapted to the epidemic context and local culture, paying particular attention to the psychological impact of Ebola on patients, survivors, bereaved families, and healthcare staff. Be responsible for the mental health service, the implementation and consolidation of activities, and the technical supervision of the team (psychologists and counselors), ensuring that a consistent approach to care and regular patient follow-up are applied within the project.

Planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring all logistics activities in the project related to Water, Health and Sanitation, according to MSF protocols and standards in order to ensure an optimal running of the project.

From carrying out advanced electrical installations to coordinating repairs and maintenance, Energy Managers support critical infrastructure required for MSF's medical and humanitarian operations. The role includes equipment maintenance, inventory management, training of local staff, and ensuring compliance with MSF technical standards.
